The continued global growth in the sale of large injection molding machines with specific focus on the Automotive Sector spurred UBE to merge with Mitsubishi's injection molding machine business. U&M Plastics Solutions Co. Ltd. will market and sell all of the Injection Molding Machines manufactured by both UBE and the former MHIPT.
U-MHI Platech Co., LTD(U-MHIPT) has been established to assume all of the manufacturing activity of the former MHIPT.
U-MHI Platech AMERICA, Inc. located at 1051 Ardmore Avenue in Itasca, Illinois will be the new name of the North American supply of both Service and Parts for the former MHIPT Machines as well as future U-MHIPT machines.
